Getting to know Erich

So fun to take the time to highlight another incredible team member here at Wyatt Fire Protection – Erich!  Erich is one of our veteran fire sprinkler fitters, starting here at Wyatt Fire in 2011.  His work ethic and previous years’ experience in fire protection were an immediate asset to the team.   Along with a career in fire protection, he spent time working as a forest fire fighter.  You know you have a hard worker when you hire someone who has been a fire fighter.

Besides Erich’s strong work ethic, he brings to the team a gift for mentoring younger employees.  Not only training them for the job, but also sharing his life’s experiences and life lessons.   Something he enjoys and takes great pride in. 

Erich is married and he and his wife Jael are proud parents of their son Otto.  Erich is a Seattle Seahawks fan and evidently is quite the master at the grill.  If you ask him what the best vacation is that he’s even taken, he’ll tell you the 4 months he spent backpacking in Europe (most people would consider that a working vacation).

We were able to celebrate Erich’s 10-year anniversary with Wyatt recently at our Christmas luncheon. We are very fortunate that Erich made his way to Wyatt Fire and look forward to working alongside him the next 10 years and beyond.
